Estreia da Semana: Desafio Total

 

Colin Farrell protagoniza o remake do filme “Desafio Total”, cujo filme original tinha como estrelas principais Arnold Schwarnegger e Sharon Stone. O filme é baseado num conto de Philip K. Dick, escritor que inspirou filmes como “Blade Runner” e “Relatório Minoritário”. O filme conta a história de um empregado fabril que começa a desconfiar que é um espião, duvidando das suas próprias memórias, sem saber o que é real e o que são lembranças fabricadas. Para além de Colin Farrell, Total Recall conta as atuações de Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel e Ethan Hawke.

 

 

Sinopse:

 

Bem-vindos a Rekall, a empresa que pode transformar os seus sonhos em memórias reais. Para Douglas Quaid – um trabalhador comum com uma bela esposa – uma viagem pela mente parece-lhe ser a solução ideal para fugir à sua vida frustrante e memórias reais de um super-espião pode bem ser o que ele precisa.

Mas quando o procedimento corre mal, Quaid transforma-se num homem procurado. Ao ter de fugir da polícia, controlada pelo Chancellor Cohaagen, o líder do mundo livre, Quaid alia-se a uma combatente rebelde para encontrarem o chefe da resistência e parar Cohaagen.

A linha entre fantasia e a realidade fica confusa e o mundo de Quaid balança quando ele descobre a sua verdadeira identidade, o seu verdadeiro amor e o seu verdadeiro destino.

Estreia da Semana: O Legado de Bourne

 

“O Legado de Bourne” (“The Bourne Legacy”) é o quarto filme do universo Bourne, filmes baseados nos livros de Robert Ludlum. Os primeiros três filmes, “The Bourne Identity”, “The Bourne Supremacy” e “The Bourne Ultimatum” tiveram como personagem principal Jason Bourne, interpretado por Matt Damon. Já “The Bourne Legacy” conta com a interpretação de Jeremy Renner no papel principal, como mais um dos agentes do projeto Treadstone, Aaron Cross.

 

 

Sinopse:

 

Com Bourne afastado, a história gira em volta do agente Aaron Cross (Jeremy Renner) que, tal como o primeiro, passou pelo recrutamento Treadstone e é hoje um assassino de elite, treinado para matar.

Agora, ligado a eventos anteriormente vividos por Bourne, Cross descobre que aquele programa é apenas a ponta do icebergue de uma conspiração sem precedentes em que estão envolvidas personalidades governamentais e onde o que está em causa é a própria segurança dos EUA.

Com realização de Tony Gilroy (“Michael Clayton – Uma Questão de Consciência “, “Dupla Sedução”), é o quarto filme inspirado na personagem de culto de Robert Ludlum, o célebre escritor de “thrillers” de espionagem que teve um enorme sucesso no final dos anos 80.

Nesta nova aventura, Matt Damon dá lugar a Jeremy Renner que se junta a Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Oscar Isaac, Albert Finney, Joan Allen, David Strathairn e Scott Glenn.
